Kā uzzināt savu testosterona līmeni asinīs

How to find out your testosterone level in your blood

Testosteron is the most important hormone for men's health. Therefore, it is especially important to monitor its changes in your body. Low testosterone levels can indicate a feeling of mental weakness in everyday life, lack of motivation, depressive feelings, sadness, physical weakness, lack of libido, and other problems that interfere with men's lives. Therefore, to avoid blind guessing and relying solely on feelings, it is highly recommended to regularly monitor your testosterone levels in your blood. The only accurate way to determine testosterone levels is to perform blood tests. Here's a quick way to find out your testosterone level for the first time - without doctor's referrals or wasted time.

Step one - go to the E.Gulbis Laboratory website, log in with your internet bank. (Of course, it is also possible to take tests at other medical institutions, but this time we will look at the simplest way to apply for tests)

Once authorized, go to the "apply for tests" section

apply for testosterone tests

In the test panel, find "Testosterone" and mark that you want to perform testosterone tests. It should be noted that we also recommend performing, for example, a complete blood count, as well as vitamin D tests and others - but this time we are focusing specifically on testosterone.

To perform the tests, select Testosterone
To understand how much free, or unbound, testosterone is in your blood, doctors measure both testosterone and SHBG levels in your blood. This is because different SHBG levels can affect how much testosterone is available to your body.
Therefore, if you wish, you can also measure both Testosterone and SHBG

Once you have selected the desired blood tests, click apply and follow all the steps (you will need to enter your data, nothing complicated)

Click Apply until you reach the last page – there you will see your order number – write this down and find your nearest E.Gulbis laboratory (see image)

Next steps:

✅ Save the number
⬇️
✅ Choose the most convenient address
⬇️
✅ The next day, between 7-10 AM, go to donate blood, tell the blood taker your order number, and enjoy the prick in your vein :))

Test results usually arrive in your specified email address on the evening of the same day.

Interpreting the results

Once the results have arrived in your email, it's time to look at your number, expressed in ng/mL
This interpretation can be very subjective – some will feel great with relatively lower values, for example, 4-5 ng/mL, while for others this number may be higher.
Therefore, it is important to regularly perform tests to understand the correlation between well-being, motivation, physical performance, and the amount of testosterone in the blood. For example, perform the first tests when well-being, motivation, and libido are low, find out your result, then, for example, for 3 weeks do everything possible to improve your testosterone, such as regular physical activity, leg training, excellent, uninterrupted sleep, vitamin D, Testosterone Coffee in the morning, and then perform the tests again to observe your well-being and re-measure testosterone levels.

If the results are particularly bad, we recommend consulting a doctor for further examinations.

If the result is below 6 ng/mL, and you feel unwell daily, then it is worth doing everything to naturally improve your T. level.
